About the OSBA
The OSBA is Ontario's premier elite high school basketball league. The inaugural season took place in 2015 and included players such as 2016 NBA first-round draft pick, Thon Maker (Athlete Institute) and University of Maryland commit, Justin Jackson (Hill Academy). In the second season, the league expanded to include a women's league. The league has steadily expanded each year to include new men's and women's teams. For more information, visit

The Media Team is an integral part of the OSBA. If you are looking for opportunities to utilize and enhance your skills, build your network within the basketball community, and contribute to the growth and development of basketball in our province, join the OSBA Media Team today!

We are looking for skilled volunteers in the following areas:

·         Journalism
·         Photography
·         Graphic Design
·         Video (live streaming, videography)
·         Announcers & Play-by-Play Commentators


Time Commitment
Time requirements vary by position and your availability. The 2018-19 season begins in October. Games will take place across the province in the following cities: Toronto, York Region, Oshawa/Whitby, Orangeville, Oakville, Hamilton, Brantford, Guelph, London, and Ottawa. Additionally, some roles do not require game attendance; they can be completed from wherever you live.
